This baby crown makes a great photo prop and only requires a small amount of yarn so it's a nice destash project too!

bobble = [yo, insert hook in st, yo and draw loop through, yo, draw loop through 1st 2 loops on hook] 3 times all in same st, yo, draw loop through all 4 loops on hook.
The instructions given are to make a crown for a baby or toddler. The foundation chain is worked in multiples of 12; so, if you want a larger size, you can chain multiples of 12 until your foundation chain fits the head of the person you are making the crown for.
Ch 48, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring (make sure not to twist the foundation chain).
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as 1st dc), 1 dc in each ch around, sl st in top of 1st dc to join (48 dc total).
Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a st), 1 sc in 1st st, *skip 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, skip 2 sts, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * around ending on 1 sc in 1st sc.
Round 3: DO NOT CHAIN, *2 dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 2, skip 1 sc and 2 dc, 1 sc in middle dc st, ch 2, skip 2 dc and 1 sc; repeat from * around, sl st in 1st dc to join.
Round 4: DO NOT CHAIN, *[1 bobble, ch 2] between each 2 dc cluster, 1 hdc in sc, ch 2; repeat from * around, sl st in top of 1st bobble to join.
Trim and weave in ends.
